Sri Lanka announced their 15 man squad for the three match T20 International series against India.
Lasith Malinga misses the T20I series due to injury. Danish Chandimal will lead the Sri Lankan team. He has to recover fully from the knee injury that forced him out of the tour of New Zealand. Malinga played his last match against West Indies at home in last November.
Sri Lanka team included three new players in the squad. They are Asela Gunaratne, Kasun Rajitha and Binura Fernando.
The fast bowler Dilhara Fernando, who played his last match against Pakistan in 2012 and he returns to the Sri Lankan squad. Leg-spinning all-rounder Seekkuge Prasanna also makes a comeback.
Angelo Mathews also recovering from the groin injury and misses out the series. Nuwan Kulasekara, Rangana Herath and Nuwan Pradeep also not feature in the squads.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said,“Lasith Malinga, Angelo Mathews, Nuwan Kulasekara, Rangana Herath and Nuwan Pradeep were not available for selection due to injuries.”

2nd T20I – February 12 at Delhi
3rd T20I – February 14 at Vishakhapatnam
