Parthiv Patel replaces Wriddhiman Saha for third England Test:
Parthiv Patel has been included as the replacement for the injured Wriddhiman Saha for the third test match against England. Saha, who strained his left thigh during the second test in vizag, has been ruled out of the third test.
This will be the first Test game after eight years and first International game after four years for Parthiv Patel. He last played Test was in 2008 against Sri Lanka. His last International match was an ODI also against Sri Lanka in 2012 in Australia.

BCCI said,“As a precautionary measure, Saha has been advised rest and will not play in the next Test match of the series. Parthiv Patel will replace Saha in the Indian team for the third Test.”
Patel, who made his Test debut in 17 year 153 days, has played 20 Tests and scored 683 runs at an average of 29.69.
Parthiv Patel is the highest run getter for Gujarat in the Ranji Trophy. He scores 61, 53, 60, 21, 49 and 139* in the last six innings. The third test match is set to be played from November 26 in Mohali.
