South Afican opener Quinton De Kock scored his 12th ODI hundred in the final ODI against Sri Lanka. He became the fastest batsman to complete 12 ODI hundreds surpassing his team mate Hashim Amla.
Quinton De Kock also completed 3000 ODI runs during the fifth ODI against Sri Lanka at Centurion. He became the fastest wicket-keeper batsman to reach 3000 runs in ODI surpassing former Indian captain Ms Dhoni.
Indian wicket-keeper Ms Dhoni reached 3000 ODI runs in his 90th innings whereas South African wicket-keeeper Quinton De Kock reached in just 74 innings.
After won the ODI series by 5-0 against Sri Lanka, South Africa will tour to play the 1 T20I, 5 ODI and 3 ODI matches against New Zealand at New Zealand. The T20I match kicks off the tour. The T20I match will be played at Eden Park on Feb 17.
