The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian squad for the 3rd Test, ODI series and T20 International series against Sri Lanka on Novembe 27 (Monday).
The first ODI match will be played on December 10 in Dharmasala before playing the second and third ODI games in Mohali and Visakhapatnam respectively. The three match T20I series will be played in Cuttack, Indore and Mumbai.
Currently India is playing a test series against Sri Lanka at home. The first test ended in a draw as the Indian bowlers did not get enough time to bowl against Sri Lanka. In the Second test, India thrashed Sri Lanka as India won by an innings of and runs. The third and last match of the Test series will be played at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.
After the Sri Lanka series, India will play the big series against South Africa as the visitors. Virat Kohli playing for Indian team without rest since IPL 2017. So, Kohli needed some break to charge his battery before the full fledge series against South Africa. BCCI rested Virat Kohli for the limited overs series against Sri Lanka. The Indian team opener Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team in the ODI and T20I series.
