IDFC was first established after the merger between IDFC Bank and Capital First Bank in December 2018. Also, it got incorporated in 2014 after RBI’s approval after which it started its banking operations in 2015. It has around 600 branches, and 592 spread across India having its headquarters in Mumbai.
