Hundreds of mourners have gathered to pay their respects to mother-of-two Katie Kenyon, whose body was found a week after she went missing.
Many wore the 33-year-old’s favourite colour purple for the funeral service held in her home town of Padiham, Lancashire.
A carriage, drawn by two white horses adorned with purple plumes, led the cortege to the church.
On top of the hearse were floral tributes to “Katie” and “Mum”.
Purple balloons were also attached outside the town centre church.
The ceremony was followed by a private burial service.
Ms Kenyon was last seen at around 9.30am on 22 April, when it is thought she travelled in a silver Ford Transit van which left Burnley towards the Bolton-by-Bowland area of Lancashire.
Police said officers discovered a body on the evening of 29 April in an area of the Forest of Bowland after receiving fresh information over the whereabouts of Ms Kenyon.
A subsequent post-mortem examination found she died of head injuries.
A 50-year-old Burnley man has appeared in court charged with her murder and faces trial in November.
