Morrisons recalls some chicken products over fears they may contain glass | News UK Video News

Morrisons is recalling several breaded chicken products as they may contain small pieces of glass.

The following items are unsafe to eat due to the possible presence of glass:

  • Breaded Chicken Goujons, pack size 270g and 650g and a use by date of June 20 and June 21
  • Breaded Chicken Nuggets, pack size of 260g and a use by date of June 19.
  • The Morrisons Breaded Chicken Platter, pack size 600g and a use by date of June 19.
  • The Morrisons Breaded Chicken Steaks, pack size 500g and a use by date of June 18.

No other products are affected by this issue, the supermarket chain said.

It added: “We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”

Notices will be displayed in all shops selling these products.

Anyone who has bought any of the above products are being urged to not eat them and instead return them to the store for a full refund.
