Chris Gayle reached his fifty in just 26 balls and next 50 in 25 balls, and he smashed 10 sixes. He hammered South Africa’s bowling attack. West Indies posted a total of 205/6, but South Africa chased this massive total with the help of Gibbs’ unbeaten 90.

Umar Gul’s incredible spell

Pakistan pacer Umar Gul thrashed New Zealand’s batting line-up with his reverse swing in the 2009 T20 World Cup. Umar Gul picked 5 wickets against New Zealand were bowled out for 99. He is the first bowler to take 5 wicket-haul in T20 Internationals. Pakistan won that match and eventually the tournament.
