Due to heavy rain all over Chennai and surrounding districts, Government of Tamil Nadu announced holiday for schools and colleges. All the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Examinations of Anna University and the respective Affiliated colleges were supposed to be held on last few weeks has been postponed.
More than 500 affiliated colleges working under Anna University and operating since 2001. Anna University offers various courses in Engineering and Technology through its affiliated colleges. Along with Chennai, another part of Tamil Nadu like Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Vellore, Caddalur and many districts affected heavy with rain floods.
Earlier on December 1st : “Due to inclement weather, all the examinations scheduled on 1.12.2015 is postponed for University Departments and all Affiliated Colleges of Anna University – Date will be announced later – COE”

Reportedly Anna University exams for December 2nd likely to postpone as Chennai and other surrounding districts records heavy rain for post 24 hours. The official announcement to reveal soon by university management. All the students are advised to check the Notification and prepare for the examinations accordingly.
