Indian left-arm pacer Ashish Nehra all set to make a comeback for the national team. As per reports, Nehra is fit and ready to play for his national team again. He was a key player for his team since his comeback. But the injury made him to take rest. He was ruled out due to injury during 2016 Indian Premier League.
He missed first few matches of the SRH in this IPL. After played the few matches for SRH, he felt that pain again. He was ruled out of the IPL this year. He had lead the bowling attack in the Asia Cup and T20I series against Australia.
After spent 6 months without cricket, he is fit again to play cricket. Now, he is eyeing to make a comeback again in ODIs and T20Is against England. As per reports, he will play the practice games to prove his fitness before the series.
England will play two practice matches. India are to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is against England in January 2017. The first ODI will play in Pune and Ashish Nehra last played for India in the semi-finals of T20I World Cup against West Indies.
