Former Australian speed star Brett Lee praised Indian test team captain Virat Kohli. He expressed his admiration of Virat’s aggression and batting talent.
Brett Lee feels that Virat Kohli is currently the best batsman in the world. Virat Kohli improved in the test format over the last few years.
“He is the world’s best batsman currently,” Lee told the Times of India. “His technique is incredible.
“If you look back a couple of years, you would say that a fourth or fifth stump ball might get him fishing and that’s how you get him out.
“But now, he’s checked that and that ball no longer gets him out. He’s tightened his technique, his stance is upright and he’s playing with total freedom.”
Virat Kohli, who scored an unbelievable 973 runs in IPL 2016 and also won the man of the tournament in T20I World Cup 2016, continued his brilliant form to West Indies tour as he smashed first double century in Test format.
Brett Lee, who had 718 International wickets to his name, also one of the aggression player at his time. Now, he praising Virat Kohli’s aggression and batting technique.
“I love the way he plays and his aggression,” Lee said.
“His aggression is in your face but it’s not over the top. Rather, it’s controlled. He’s very passionate and always puts his team first,” he added.
