Huma Qureshi Earlier Life & Family

Qureshi was born on 28 July 1986 in Delhi, India into a Muslim family. Her parents, Saleem Qureshi (Father) is a restaurateur and Ameena Qureshi (Mother) is a housewife. She has three brother Saqib Saleem (Actor), Naeem Qureshi and Haseen qureshi.

Huma completed her schooling in Delhi and done her bachelor’s in History Honours from the Gargi College—University of Delhi. Begin her career in Modeling and Theatre actor and signed with Hindustan Unilever for television commercials.

After impressed Anurag Kashyap wti her Samsung commercial, Qureshi managed to get an oppurtunity to debut in bollywood.

Huma initially signed to play lead role in Tamil movie Billa 2 along with Ajith. Due to delay in shootingshe opt out from the project.

Made her bollywood debut with Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012, critically acclaimed movie by Anurag Kashyap. She played an supporting role as the wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

After two part of Gangs of Wasseypur, Qureshi completed her thrid film with Anurag in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, a romantic comedy bollywood film.

In 2013, she featured in Ek Thi Daayan, Shorts and D-Day movies in important roles.

So far Huma featured in more than 10 films which includes Dedh Ishqiya, Badlapur, Highway, White and Jolly LLB 2.

In 2017, Qureshi signed her debut tamil movie ‘Kaala’ to feature along with Superstar Rajinikanth. The film directed by Pa. Ranjith.
