India jumped to No.1 spot with the brilliant effort from Raina and Yuvraj’s power hitting at the end.
India claimed the No.1 spot in ICC T20I rankings after their 3-0 whitewash over Australia. India began the series in eight spot and ended the series in first place. India are top with 120 points and Australia are No.8 with 110 points.
In the first two matches of the series, India batted first and posted a big score with the help of Virat Kohli. And Australian openers gave a brilliant start but in the middle overs, Indian spinner collapsed the Aussies batting line-ups.
But in the third match, Australia posted a biggest score in this series with the help of Shane Watson’s unbeaten 124* off just 71 balls. India successfully chased down the target with the help of Kohli’s fifty and Raina & Yuvraj finished the match with there style.
Before this series, India at No.8 spot and Australia at No.2 spot. After the series, India at No.1 spot and Australia at No.8 spot. Australia & India almost exchanged their rankings after the T20 series.
Before the ICC World Cup, so many series between the first 8 teams. Only 10 points are different between top 8 teams. Plenty of changes will be come in the ICC rankings in T20I before the start of the ICC T20 World Cup which will begin in March.
