Touted to be political thriller, Kodi directed by Durai Senthil Kumar and produced by WUnderbur Movies. The film cast ensambles Dhanush, Trisha Krishnan in lead roles. Shamili, Sathish, S. A. Chandrasekhar, Subbu Panchu, Vinu Mohan playing important roles for Kodi. The sound track and background score of Kodi composed by Santhosh Narayanan and Cinematography handled by Venkatesh S.

The project officially announced on November 2015 by Dhanush on his twitter handle and now the shooting of Kodi has begin from January first week. THe filming going in brisk pace and the makers planning to release for 2016 end.

Durai Senthil Kumar, the director of Kodi who prominent for his previous flicks Edhir Neechal and Kaaki Sattai movies. After filmed two movies under Wunderbur production, now Director again joing with the house and this time Dhanush agreed to lead.

After releasing Anegan, Maari and Thangamagan in 2015, Dhanush set to release two movies in 2016. Mwanwhile, Dhanush and Prabhu Solomon film under post production work and wil gearing up for mid 2016 release. The official title of Film yet to reveal.

The first look poster and teaser of Kodi anticipated to release for Mid 2016 after first portion shooting. The official trailer and songs of the film aiming for August or September 2016 release. The exact releasing plan will be update here soon.
