After Super Hit Bhairavaa in earlier 2017, Thalapathy Vijay begin shooting for his next. Collaborating along with Atlee for his second venture. The duo last seen with Blockbuster Theri in 2016. This film noted as Producer Sri Thenandal Films 100th movie in tamil. The title ‘Mersal’ announced on Vijay’s birthday 21st June 2017.
