Mumtaj (Nagma Khan) was born on 5 July 1980 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She had the screen name ‘Monisha’ before changing it to ‘Mumtaj’. She completed her schooling at St. Marys Convent High School, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Her mother tongue is Urdu, But she can speak Tamil, English, Punjabi, and Hindi without any trouble. She earned many fans after she played as an item number in many films. She was a judge in the first season of Star Vijay’s reality dance competition ‘Boys Vs Girls’ and sixth season of Maanada Mayilada which was telecasted by Kalaignar TV.
