Pasanga 2 Movie 1st Day Box Office Collection | First Day Collection Report

On the first day the reports had indicated that “Pasanga 2” had opened to low expectations. But, good reviews from the cine-goers helped the movie to perform well. The film produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainments

The morning and the matinee shows witnessed above 45-55% turnout in theatres in Tamil Nadu. However, the occupancy took a surprising jump in the evening shows. In Chennai, the movie crossed 75% occupancy in the prime-time shows.

“Pasanga 2” was released in 300+ theatres in Tamil Nadu. The estimated collection of the film on the release day is said to be Rs 4.50 crore. However, the official figure is yet to be released. The Tamil movie was released in some overseas circuits on the same day, and received well by the audience abroad.

After Pasanga and Marina, Pandiraj’s “Pasanga 2” has been praised a lot by the critics as well as the audience. A movie rarely gets appreciated from all sections of audience and this movie is one such film that has managed to win the audience’s hearts.

The business is expected to see a steady rise in the weekend following the good word-of-mouth. The worldwide business is expected to cross the Rs 20-crore mark in the opening weekend with Christmas anf New Year holidays to follow.

“Pasanga 2” is written and directed by Pandiraj, The film starring with some new child artists like Nishesh, Baby Vaishnavi, Aarush. The movie also featuring Bindu Madhavi, Suriya and Amala Paul in cameo roles. THe music of Pasanga 2 composed by Arrol Corelli and cinematography by Balasubramaniem.

After Successful 36 Vayathinile in earlier 2015, Suriya produced another quality film from the brand 2D Entertainment. The actor himself producing his forthcoming movie ’24’ which is set to release on 2016. Pasanaga 2 complete with Jayam Ravi’s ‘Bhoologam’ at box office on same day of release.
