Interestingly for pongal 2016 there is no Ajith and Vijay films ready for release. So this festival completely dominated by upcoming star actors. While rating among four releases, Rajini Murugan has created huge buzz among audience due to continues success of Sivakarthikeyan. Followed with Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai and Vishal’s Kathakali films. While Udhayanithi Stalin releasing his own productional venture in huge screens among the pongal clash. After back to back super hit releases, Sivakarthikeyan set to hit silverscreens on January 15th with huge number of screens. The film produced by Thirupathi brother and directed by Sargunam, Varuthapadatha Vaalibar sangam fame. Keerthi Suresh and Soori playing important role in this movie. While compare with other releases, Rajini Murugan looks toughest competitor.
2.) Thaarai Thappattai
With release of Thaarai Thappattai, Ace film maker Bala back to hit screens with his typical storyline. For the first time, Sasikumar worked with Bala and the film produced by his own Company Production. The movie featuring Varalakshmi Sarathkumar on lead role lomg with Sasi kumar. After watching trailer of Thaarai Thappattai, the expectation reaches to next level and fans of Bala eagerly awaiting to watch the movie on silverscreens for this pongal.
