Sakthi Family, Career and Facts:

Born on February 23, 1983 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His parents P. Vasu (Father) is a famous director in tamil cinema and Shanthi (Mother) is a house wife. He also has a sister, Abhirami.

Sakthi grandfather Peethambaram is a prominent makeup artist in tamil cinema who is assistant of late former Chief Ministerand Actor M.G. Ramachandran. He was married to Smirthi, a B.Com graduate from Stella Maris College, Chennai. The couple have a son.

Started his carrer as child artist in his father movies, featured in Chinna Thambi movie and portrayed as younger version of Prabhu. He also acted in many movies like Richshaw Mama (1992), Senthamizh Paatu (1992), Idhu Namma Boomi (1992).

In 2007, he debut as lead actor in Thottal Poo malarum in his father directional. The movie done recent collection in box office. Later he acted in Mahesh, Saranya Matrum Palar, which is also flop in box office.

Some of the other prominent films Sakthivel acted are Ninaithale Inikkum, Aattanayagann, Etho Seithai Ennai, Tharkappu.

In 2016, In his father direction Sakthi has played important role in Sivalinga, Kannada movie. The movie also remaked in tamil with Raghav Lawerence.

He is one among the 15 contestant of Bigg Boss game show which is host by Kamal Haasan. The show telecast in Vijay TV.
