Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is the highest wicket-taker for Bangladesh team in all format of cricket. He has broken the record of Australian legendary bowler Shane Warne. He becomes the second bowler in the list of spinners with most wickets at home in ODI’s. He achieved this milestone during he dismissed the England opener Jason Roy at Mirpur.
Sri Lankan legend Muttiah Muralitharan has 154 wickets at home. Shakib need 20 more ODI wickets to surpass Muralitharan. At his current form, surely he will achieve this record soon.
This is a great achievement for a player representing Bangladesh as the country has never been known for achieving records or breaking milestones but now this is the team is making progress at quite a fast rate.
