Indian left-hand opener Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled of the third and final Test against New Zealand due to thumb injury, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) said on monday.
The third and final test to be played at Indore from this saturday as India have already leading the series 2-0.

Dhawan, who picked up a knock on his left thumb from a Trent Boult delivery in the third over of India’s second innings on Sunday, has suffered a fracture and is advised at least 15 days’ rest.
Team India won the second test against New Zealand by 178 runs at Eden Gardens to claim the No.1 spot in ICC Test Rankings. Wriddhiman Saha, who scored fifties in both the innings of the second test, has been awarded as the Man of the Match.
