India’s star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh eyeing to make a International comeback again. After dropped from the Indian squad, he fighted back to make into the Indian squad again. Whenever Indian team squad was to be announced, Yuvraj Singh failed in ‘Yo-Yo’ test.
He faied to clear again and again in the ‘Yo-Yo’ test. It disappointed not only the player himself but for his fans too. Indian team management requires good fitness instead of good form to select the players in the squad. The yo-yo test is one such parameter that holds the key to determine the fitness level of an athlete. This is the only reason why Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina was not selected in the Indian squad.
As per reports, India’s star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh cleared the ‘Yo-Yo’ test with a score of 16.3. The minimum mark is to clear the test is 16. While Indian team is to announce the squad for T20I series and test series against South Africa, Yuvraj Singh cleared the fitness test.
After a long time, he made his comeback to the Indian team during the ODI series against England in early 2017. He scored a brilliant 150 and registered his highest ODI score in the ODI series against England. Then he failed to continue his good form as he was dropped from the squad after Champions Trophy 2017.
This interesting news was confirmed by Aaj Tak Sports Editor Vikrant Gupta on the social media ‘Twitter’:

After getting pass marks in the fitness test, Yuvraj singh said,”I would like to tell that I am failing. I still fail. I failed the last three fitness tests but yesterday I passed my fitness test. After 17 years I am still failing.”
“I am not afraid of failure. I have gone through ups and downs. I have seen defeat and that’s what’s the pillar of success. “To be a successful man, to be a successful person in your life, you need failure and you’ve got to be defeated. That will make you a stronger person and it will take you to the next level,” he explained.
“I am still playing. I don’t know what format I am going to play. But I am pushing everyday as hard as I used to, may be harder than before because I am getting older. And I see myself playing cricket till 2019 and obviously take a call after that,” he said.
“So I still believe in myself. As I said I don’t know how many people believe in me but I do believe in myself,” Yuvraj added. The left-hander has played 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20 Internationals in his 17-year-career scoring 1900, 8701 and 1177 runs across the respective formats.
Meanwhile, the youngsters Washington Sundar and Nitish Rana also cleared the ‘Yo-Yo’ test. The two players took the test at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Washington Sundar who failed to clear in the first attempt, cleared the fitness test. The youngsters Sundar and Rana might earn their maiden call for International squad for the T20I series against Sri Lanka.
