Indian squad has been announced for the first 3 match of the ODI series against New Zealand starting October 16. Both Suresh Raina and Amit Mishra have been included in the ODI squad. They played their last ODI match against South Africa at home in October 2015 and they were not selected in the Australia and Zimbabwe tours this year.
While both Dhawan and KL Rahul not recovering from the injury, the new selection commitee choosed Mandeep Singh as opener. The Baroda allrounder, Hardik Pandya was recalled to ODI series.
Yuvraj Singh, who passed in the fitness test, once again ignored by the selectors.
R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami have been rested keeping an eye on home Test series against England, Bangladesh and Australia in the next five months.
Curretly, both India and New Zealand team are at Indore to play the third and final test of the 3-match Test series. India is leading the series by a margin of 2-0.
