Swathi Reddy is Graduated in Biotechnology from St. Mary’s College in Yousufguda, Hyderabad. She is unmarried.

She made her debut in supportive roles. Her first movie in supportive role was a telugu movie ‘Danger’ but the movie failed to receive positive reviews. Her next film was Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu (2007) Verule which went to collect positive reviews from audience.

Swathi made her debut as heroine in the tamil film ‘Subramaniapuram’ which released in 2008 and the movie was a super hit.
