Vijay’s Mersal Day 1 Box Office Collection – Scooptimes

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s action drama Mersal is the big Diwali release this week. Ever since the release of first look poster of Mersal, fans have been eagerly waiting to watch the movie. With much expectations, Mersal garnered positive reviews from the audience.

Released in 2500 screens in India, Mersal had a terrific opening on October 18. As per early trade estimates, the Ilayathalapathy’s Mersal has collected Rs 31.3 crore on the first day.

Thalapathy Vijay’s Mersal gross 1.52 crore at Chennai city only. It breaks Vivegam’s 1.21 and Kabali’s 1.12 crore at chennai on day 1.

According to the reports, Vijay’s Mersal grossed 31.3 crore worldwide on opening day. If the reports are to be believed, the film will reach Rs. 50 crore on its second day.

The latest Tamil-language action drama film has been released on October 18, 2017. Starring Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Nithya Menon in the lead roles and directed by Atlee.
