The Indian skipper Virat Kohli to miss first few matches in IPL 2017 due to the shoulder he sustained during the 3rd test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
He was ruled out of the fourth and final test against Australia. But, India comfortably won the match as well as series. It was the first time, India played without Virat Kohli.
The world’s popular T20 league IPL will starts from April 5. The first match is to clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kohli said that he might be ruled out of any kind of tournament for few weeks to be recovered from shoulder injury.
In the post-match presentation ceremony in Dharamsala, Virat Kohli said, “Still a few weeks to go till I can be hundred percent fit. You have to take it in your stride and move forward.”
“It is not fine as of now. I don’t know exactly. The physio will give an official statement soon on the time span” – Kohli said later in the post-match press briefing.
