Yuvraj Singh ruled out of T20 World Cup 2016 – Scooptimes

Yuvraj Singh rolled his ankle while playing on 5 against Australia.

Yuvraj Singh, who plays supportive role for Team India in the ongoing T20 World Cup, ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2016 after he twisted his ankle during India’s chase against Australia in Mohali.

According to the reports, after the match winning celebration, bad news came from the dressing room that Yuvraj’s injury is not showing much improvement and Manish Pandey, who won the match by his unbeaten century against Australia this january, will replace Yuvraj Singh.

Yuvraj Singh twisted his ankle while hopping to fend off a delivery while batting against Australia. Despite treatment by the physio, Yuvraj Singh continued to play and was out on 21. Virat’s brilliant 51 ball 82 knock the Australia from the tournament and enters into Semi-final. Manish Pandey is the first batsman to hit a century in the Indian Premier League. India will take on West Indies at Mumbai in the Semi-final on March 31.
