Zimbabwe announced their squad for T20 World Cup on February 13, 2016.
Zimbabwe’s squad announced for Twenty20 World Cup which is help in India from March 8. Fast bowler Tendai Chatara has been included in the squad for the first time since 2015 World Cup. He suffered a fractured left leg in April 2015 and in this January he returned to play competitive cricket. Tinashe Panyangara, who missed the T20 series against Bangladesh, also back to the squad for upcoming T20 World Cup.
Taurai Muzarabani and Brian Vitori fails to find the place in the squad due to the return of Chatara and Panyangara. Chamu Chibhabha also misses the World Cup, he was part of the squad in the T20 series against Bangladesh but he didn’t get an oppurtunity in the playing XI.
Zimbabwe have picked four frontline seamers – Chatara, Panyangara, Luke Jongwe & Madziva and three spinners – Graeme Cremer, Tendai Chisoro & Masakadza and two part-time bowlers – Sean Williams & Sikandar Raza.
