The “world’s largest puzzle” can now be bought from Costco – but it will set you can back more than £500.

The 60,000-piece jigsaw features a vibrant collage of the world’s most interesting places and stands 8ft (2.44m) tall and 29ft (8.84m) wide once it is completed.

Named What a Wonderful World, it is being billed as the world’s largest puzzle on the market by its creator, Dowdle.

The good news is the gigantic jigsaw can be created by forming 60 1,000-piece sections and then interlocking them together.

Perhaps not the perfect Christmas gift for any inpatient relative, the puzzle includes 187 different paintings from the Dowdle art studio and comes with 60 individual reference posters.

It is currently listed on the US Costco site for $599.99, which is around £521.

According to the Guinness World Records, the biggest puzzle ever made was achieved by Dubai Multi Commodities Centre on 7 July 2018.

The jigsaw mural featured Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first president of the United Arab Emirates.

It measured 65,905.17 square feet and contained 12,320 pieces.

The world record for the largest “commercially made” puzzle was previously given to a Ravensburger jigsaw, which featured images of classic Disney cartoons.

Once completed, it was 22.3ft (6.8m) wide and 6.2ft (1.89m) tall.
