Virat Kohli breaking many records which was created by cricket legends Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar, etc. Before IPL, he did not scored a century in IPL and a double century in Test. Now, he has 4 IPL hundreds and 3 double-centuries in Test. A True cricket fan wrote the letter to Virat Kohli for his brilliant performance. Take a look:

Dear Virat Kohli,

I thought of telling you this, but due to your busy cricket itinerary I kept it within myself. But today I want to say it all.

I have seen it all starting from your U-19 cricket world cup in 2008 to the recent India-England test match in Mumbai, one thing that remained inseparable from you is your bat. Thankfully, as an ardent fan of your’s I have also been a part of your illustrious cricket career for the last so many years – I am proud of it.

Slowly, but surely you are stepping into shoes of the legends and if you keep performing like this I’m quite sure you would break many more records in the days to come.

Phenomenal Virat Kohli: The Performance Speaks

1) Virat became the 4th captain to cross 1000 test runs in a single year (2016) in the last one decade.

2) Virat Kohli has played 36 international cricket matches and scored 2580 runs from 40 innings this year.

3) He maintained a brilliant average of 88.96 with seven tons and 13 fifties during this period.

4) Kohli has received eight MOM awards and two MOS honours this year.

5) He is India’s fastest centurion in ODI. He hit the ton in just 52 balls in 2013 against Australia in Jaipur.

6) Kohli is also the world’s fastest to reach 7,000 runs in ODIs.

Virat Kohli: The Epitome of Perfection

The way you time the ball so sweetly and execute each shot with so much perfection is something that makes me very fortunate to be your die-hard fan. In recent times, I am really awestruck with the kind of maturity and dedication that you have shown on the cricket field.

No matter what, I like your attitude the way you play at 20s, 90s and 190s . I feel the same aggression in your batting when you are playing at 99 as if you are playing in 30s – something that I missed so often in the past in Indian cricket team.

Putting the team’s cause first before your own personal landmark is really admirable. It’s your selfless and hardworking attitude that’s winning so many hearts these days from across the globe.

Your consistent 50+ average across formats shows your amazing bonhomie with the bat per se. And this year, your sublime performance did the unimaginable – putting you atop of the latest ICC T-20 ranking along with a second spot at both ODI and test ranking.

I find your defensive style of batting at test cricket extremely riveting notwithstanding the fact that it still includes your controlled aggression and attacking mood. Scoring three 200s at test matches in a single year is in itself a great achievement.

The Party and Jubilation have Just Begun for Virat Kohli

I have just one request; sometimes, your brutal attack on bowlers makes them cry aloud. Your recent banter with James Anderson proved the frustration of English side. They have lost the bilateral series and found sledging the best way to counter attack the indomitable Indian cricket team under your captaincy. Please ignore such things and keep your momentum going without losing focus.

Concentration, consistency, class, charisma, temperament, temerity and technique – Virat you have mastered it all in no time. On the captaincy front, you have accomplished an astonishing streak of 17-undefeated test matches as an Indian captain. I wholeheartedly congratulate you on this. Hope you will carry the vibrant legacy that MS Dhoni and Sourav Ganguly have left behind while leading Indian team from the front.

You are the conqueror, you are the best. Virat Kohli means complete audacity and dominance. No mercy!!

Your’s Inseparable
