India-Pakistan bilateral series likely to be called off – Scooptimes

The much awaited bilateral series between India and Pakistan likely to called off. The Government of India refused to accept invitation of Pakistan Cricket board – Reports.

Reportedly, India vs Pakistan Series was scheduled to happen on December 16, due to some issues India have refused to Play a Cricket series with Pakistan. PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan has stated that they will wait for two days before planning for the series in Srilanka.

“The board is still waiting for the Government’s Response before taking any decision”, BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur said. “Can’t Play Cricket with Pakistan When People Are Dying on the Border”, He added.

“India set to Leave Australia on December 5 after played the big series with South Africa. It is very important for every players to get 4 to 5 days Rest”, BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur said.

Thakur said, “According to an MoU signed between the two nations, Pakistan was to host India in December 2015. But The series is flip-flop. We have to wait for some days



to get response from Government”.

“We wanted to play, but India did not respond positively”, Pakistan Cricket Board chief Shahryar Khan

“We have to lose $ 50 Million. We already started the work for event and even since it is home series”, PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan.

Finally, Shahryan Khan said, ” We will wait for Only two days for BCCI’s response. Seems like they won’t play with us”

The series likely to be held from December 24, 2015 to January 5, 2016. Both PCB and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) were awaiting Indian government’s permission. However, it is now learned that the proposed series will not see daylight as of now. Since the bilateral series not called off, the official announcement by any of Cricket board to reveal soon.
