Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shahryar Khan said that Pakistan are ready to play against India in India or in neutral venue.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was scheduled to play six bilateral series between the period of year 2014 to 2023. Therefore, in the recent Special General Meeting, the board threatened to take legal action if they did not reply to the notice sent by them to BCCI.

PCB chairman Shahryar Khan clarified that Pakistan are ready to play against India. They are interested in playing against India in neutral venue.

“We are ready to play in India; although we will have a lot of security threats there, but we are ready to play in India if they offer it to us. Also, we are ready to face them in a third country (a neutral venue), but first they need to agree to play against us. They are not ready, so how can anything happen?” quoted Shahryar Khan.

“PCB policy is Pak will not play India in India until India has played Pak in Pak/third country as per 2014 MoU. This is non-negotiable” he further stated.

India last played a test series against Pakistan was in 2007. When last time India hosted Pakistan in 2012 in 3 match ODI series and a 2 match T20I series, Pakistan won ODI series and tied T20I series.
