Steve Smith’s reaction after Dhoni hit four on final ball – Scooptimes

The former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has played brilliant innings against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the night match on 22nd April.

Ms Dhoni was in poor form in the first five matches of the Indian Premier League. He failed to entertain his fans in the first five matches.

While chasing 176 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pune scored just 87 runs for in the 11th over. Pune needed 90 runs from the final 9 overs when Dhoni came to crease.

Ms Dhoni started his innings slowly and had scored 17 off 15 balls. Then Pune needed 62 runs from the final 30 balls.

They scored 32 runs in the next three overs and brought down the equation to 30 runs from the 12 balls. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is in good form in IPL 10, was thrashed by Ms Dhoni. Ms Dhoni and Manoj Tiwary smashed 19 runs in Bhuvneshwar’s over.

11 runs were needed off the last over. Manoj Tiwary, who was on strike, scored 5 runs in the first 2 balls but 2 singles in the next balls. That brought down the equation to 6 runs from last 2 balls.

Dhoni took a couple of runs in the 5th ball and hit the four in the final ball to take his team home. This was the third win for Pune in this tournament. Pune captain Steve Smith was happy with the win and was seen clapping his hands after Dhoni hit the four on final delivery.
