He was born on 23rd July, 1990 in Jind, Haryana, India. Chahal was born to father, K.K. Chahal and mother, Sunita Devi. He has two sisters, both are elders. Chahal finished his studies in DAV Public School, Jind.
Yuzvendra Chahal Career:
– Teams played for: Haryana, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, India
– In 2011 IPL, he was bought by Mumbai Indians franchise but he played just 1 match across 3 seasons. But, he played all matches for Mumbai Indians in 2011 Champions League T20.
– In 2011 Champions League final, his 2 for 9 against Royal Challengers Bangalore helped Mumbai Indians to clinch the title again.
– Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for base price 10 lakhs in 2014 IPL auction. Then he became the key player for RCB team.
– Chahal made his ODI debut for India against Zimbabwe on 11th June, 2016 at Harare. In the second match of the series, he ended his spell with 25/3 to bag the man of the match award.
– He made his T20I debut against same Zimbabwe on 18th June 2016 at Harare.
– On 1st February 2017, he picked up 6 wickets for just 25 runs in a T20I game against England and became the first Indian bowler to bag five-wicket haul in T20 International game.
– He is the only player to represent India in both chess and cricket. His name is listed in World Chess Federation’s official site.
