Super Singer Season 1 (2006)
The first season of Airtel Super singer has been telecasted on the year 2016 which happened on march and april months. Popular playback singer Chinmayi and the judges’ panel consisted of playback singers Anuradha Sriram, Unnikrishnan and Srinivas. Nikhil Matthew is the proud winner of season 1 and he crooned his voice for tamil movie ‘Bheema’ from musical of Harris Jayaraj. The first runner up awarded as Anitha and Sowmya Mahadevan declared as Jury’s Choice award.
Super Singer Season 2 (2008)
The second season of Super Singer contest has been started telecast from 27th June 2008 and was judged this time by Sujatha, Unnikrishnan and Srinivas. Ajeesh crowned as title winner of season 2 and he got chance to record his voice for Goa movie. From the musical of Yuvan Shankar Raja, Ajeesh crooned his debut song and later he lent his voice for many movies. The runner up position was bagged by Ravi, while the third position went to Renu.
Super Singer Season 3 (2010)
Airtel Super Singer 3rd season has been happened on 2010 with the same panel of judges as the previous season Sujatha, Unnikrishnan and Srinivas. Saicharan has won the competition among top 20 contestants, he also gets an golden oppurtunity to record his voice in tamil movie ‘Sattai’ in Imman musical. In thrid season, Santhosh Hariharan and Sathya Prakash awarded as runners up who also crooned their voice in movies.
Super Singer 4 (2013)
The fourth season of Super Singer contest has been conducted in grand manner with same panel of judges Unnikrishnan, Sujatha and Srinivas in 2013. The interesting competition which ended with top five contestants for grand finals. Diwakar won the title of Super Singer for Season 5 and also he rewarded with 75 Lakhs villa in chennai. The singer has recorded his voice in man tamil movie in quick time after winning the title in Vijay television. Syed Subahan and Sarath Santosh are the other two contestants who declared as runner up for 5th seasion.
Super Singer 5 (2016)
The fifth season og Super singer has been commenced on mid 2015 and the show extended till Match 2016. The grand finals scheduled in Chennai which is going to happen on March 2016.
