After a long gap, A.R. Rahman to perform in Chennai and south tamil nadu cities Coimbatore and Madurai on January 2016. First the Nenje Ezhu concert scheduled in chennai on 16th January, followed with Coimbatore on 23rd January and finally Rahman will reach Mudurai for January 26th.
Reportedly, The one part of fund which is collected from Nenje Ezhu concert will be donated to Chennai floods affected victims. In an interview to The Hindu, Rahman said, “Nenje Ezhu is a slogan to cheer people up, give hope and raise the morale of the people. It is from the movie Maryan [starring Dhanush]…We are doing three concerts, one each in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai.
