Kraigg Brathwaite creates new record in Test cricket – Scooptimes

West Indies opener Kraigg Brathwaite created a new record in the test during the 3rd test against Pakistan. When West Indies successfully chased the total of 154 in the 3rd test, Kraigg Brathwaite became the first opener to remain not out in the both innings of Test match.

He scored 142 runs (not out) in 318 balls including 11 fours in 1st innings and remained not out on 60 runs in the 2nd innings. He is the first player in the test cricket history to achieve this record.

Kraigg Brathwaite awarded as both Man of the Match and Man of the Series award for his unbeaten knocks in both the innings. Now he has 4 Man-of-the-Match awards to his name, most by any West Indies player in the last 5 years. Marlon Samuels and Shane Shillingford got two MOM awards each in the last 5 years.
