Vijay starrer has set new record for second highest opening day collection for a tamil movie with Rs. 19 crore. The film has surpasses his previous numbers of ‘Theri’ and ‘Kaththi’. Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Lingaa’ still top at No.1 position for first day collection.
As per Trade Source Bairavaa opening Day Worldwide Collection around 28 Cr. gross worldwide. The movie had a grand release across 55 countries (Ethiopia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Russia, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Ghana).
After massive opening day box office collection, Bhairavaa has collected good numbers on Day 2 & 3 by grossing around 20 crores worldwide. The movie also set new record for vijay film at Chennai city by surpassing Theri numbers.
The movie released around 100+ screens in Kerala and managed to gross around Rs. 2 crores on first day. Which is lesser than his previous outing ‘Theri’. Still Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ stays at top with Rs. 4 crore.

Opening Weekend: According to the source, the first weekend collection is expected to gross around Rs. 70 crores wordwide. The movie said to collected nearly R. 50 crore in tamil nadu alone in its first four days run.
