CUET Exam Registration

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level entrance exam for undergraduate admissions to all central universities in India. It is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).  The CUET Exam Registration process for 2024 will start in the first week of February 2024.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to apply for CUET (UG) – 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • They must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • They must have passed English as a subject in Class 12 or an equivalent examination.
  • They must be citizens of India.

Application Process:

The CUET (UG) – 2023 application process will be online. Candidates can apply through the NTA website, https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.

Exam Pattern:

The CUET (UG) – 2023 will be a computer-based test (CBT). The exam will consist of three sections:

Section I: Language (150 minutes)

Section II: General Knowledge (90 minutes)

Section III: Domain-Specific Test (60 minutes)

The Language section will test the candidate’s proficiency in one of the 13 languages offered by the NTA. The General Knowledge section will test the candidate’s knowledge of general science, social science, and current affairs. The Domain-Specific Test will test the candidate’s knowledge of the subject they wish to study.

Scores and Admissions:

The CUET (UG) – 2023 scores will be used for admission to undergraduate programs in all central universities. The weightage of each section will be decided by the individual universities.

After submitting the application form, candidates will receive a confirmation email and SMS on their registered email ID and mobile number. The confirmation email will contain a link to download a copy of the application form. Candidates must take a printout of the application form for future reference.
