Chris Gayle equalled the record of Yuvraj Singh’s fastest fifty in T20 cricket as he scored 50 off just 12 balls. Gayle scored this fastest fifty for Melbourne Renegrades against Adelaide Strikers in the last league of the BBL15/16.

He smashed two fours and seven sixes in his innings. Out of seven sixes, four sixes came in the first over of the match. He scored 27 runs in the first over.

The West Indian dashing opener Chris Gayle was 44 off just 10 balls, he had chance to break the Yuvraj’s fastest fifty in T20 format. But, Laughlin bowled a brilliant yorker to gayle. And the very next ball, he faced Travis Head and sent the ball into the crowd.

Melbourne Renegrades needed to chase the target within 16 overs and Chris Gayle started the innings with massive boundaries. But they all-out on 143 runs in 15.3 overs.
