The ECB has been announced the 15 members squad for T20 World Cup which is held in India from March 8 to April 3. Eoin Morgan will lead the England captain in the World Cup to reclaim the title they won in 2010.

Fast bowler Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes failed to find the place in squad while Steve Finn is included despite suffering from side strain.

Kevin Pieterson, who was in dangerous form in Big Bash League, once again ignored by selectors. And They included one uncapped player Liam Dawson in the England’s squad.

Head coach Bayliss said,“With the World Cup being in India, we’ve decided to take three spinners on that trip. He’s disappointed, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. If it was maybe somewhere else in the world, he could have maybe been one of the lucky ones. But I’m sure he’ll continue to work hard, and he’s certainly still part of our plans going forward.”

Former Sri Lankan captain who was in the part of winning T20 world cup, Mahela Jayawardene will be the part of coaching team for the first 10 days of the world cup tournament, and former England T20 captain Paul Collingwood will work with the team.

Former England’s skipper Andrew Strauss said, “Mahela and Paul proved very popular additions to the coaching team when they spent time with England in the United Arab Emirates earlier this winter and I’m delighted that they are both able to help our T20 side. Their international experience, previous success at World T20 tournaments and, particularly in Mahela’s case, knowledge of conditions make them ideal resources to tap into.”

England will play the World Cup along with West Indies, South Africa and Sri Lanka, and the first qualifier from Scotland, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and Hong Kong.
