Jayant Yadav is born in Delhi and grow up in the same city since his childhood. He made his first class debut for Haryand in the Ranji Trophy, at the age of 21 and picked up 6 wickets to demolish oppositions’ Gujarat.
He is the highest wicket taker for his team Haryana in 2014-2015. An IPL contract was not far away, Delhi Daredevils signed him in 2015 and he made his IPL debut against SRH. He proved his worth whenever called upon.
He has, time and again, given standout performances which ranges back to 2012 when he scored a maiden ton – scoring 211 and partnering Mishra in a record-breaking 392-run stand for the eighth wicket.
