Former Sri Lankan captain and T20 World cup winner Kumar Sangakkara said that Ms Dhoni and his co. are favourite to win the upcoming ICC World Cup T20.
He speaking to the TOI (Times of India) on thursday. The Sri Lankan Legend Sangakkara states that,“Dhoni has been the longest-serving captain of a national team, where the game is considered a religion. I believe no one can understand the pressure of captaincy like Dhoni. So he knows it best when to give up on captaincy. And it is a dialogue which should happen between Dhoni and the selectors.”
He also mentioned Virat Kohli. He said,“Kohli is aggressive on the field but knows how to conduct himself. He looks ready for the job.”
He went to speak about Indian Team’s chances in the upcoming T20I World Cup. He states that,“Spin will be the key to winning matches in World T20.India will start as favorites. No one knows how to handle pressure better than Dhoni.”
The Sri Lankan Skipper who playing for Gemini Arabians under Virender Sehwag in Masters Champions League (MCL), he smashed the balls everywhere. He scored 86 off just 43 balls. He played the key role for Sri Lanka in the 2014 T20 World Cup.
