Virat Kohli bows down to Sachin Tendulkar – Scooptimes

India’s T20 batting master Virat Kohli, who helped his team to a crucial win against arch-rivals Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, bowed before only man and his name is Sachin Tendulkar.

Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings against Pakistan in the Asia Cup, scoring a brilliant 49 on a green pitch against some fiery bowling attacks. According to Virat Kohli, that innings was best innings in his T20 International career. In the T20 World Cup, he beat that by scoring magnificiant fifty to help Team India’s victory over Pakistan at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

After failed to win the first match against New Zealand in the opening match of the T20 World Cup 2016. Kohli had prove his class against Pakistan. In the first innings, Pakistan posted a total of 119, but Indian team openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan yet again failed to set the platform for middle-order batsmans. Suresh Raina gone for a 1st ball duck.

Yuvraj Singh was the key player for Team India when they beat Pakistan in the Asia Cup and once again he helped Virat Kohli to beat Pakistan in the World T20.

“I did not really look at the pitch at the beginning of the game,” Kohli told Star Sports after the match. “I only realised how the pitch was playing after seeing Ashwin’s first over. After seeing that, I spoke to (batting coach) Sanjay Bangar on how I would play, when I came in to bat, so it was all well thought out.”

A drive to long-off gave Kohli his half-century, and the celebration said it all, with the India Test captain bowing down to his idol – Sachin Tendulkar – who was watching from the stands, standing up himself and applauding his heir apparent.
