New Zealand’s left-arm pace bowler Mitchell McClenaghan was ruled out of the five-match ODI series against India that starts on October 16.
According to the report, Still he is not recover from the pelvic injury that he sustained earlier this year.
“Mitch is out with a pelvis injury which he suffered earlier in the year. He is recovering well but won’t be available for the coming tour,” a New Zealand Cricket (NZC) spokesperson was quoted as saying.
McChlenaghan has not played a ODI since the first one-dayer against Pakistan in January.
However, he recovered to represent the New Zealand in ICC T20 World Cup 2016, but they lost to England in the semi-final.
Mitchell McClenaghan enjoyed the IPL 9th season with Mumbai Indians, taking 17 wickets in 14 matches and finished as highest wicket-taker for Mumbai Indians.
Corey Anderson, who has not played a match since the T20 World Cup due to back injury, likely to comeback into the squad.
New Zealand, who never won the Test series in India, have announced their test squad for the forth-coming test series against India which starts on 22 September. Jimmy Neesham returns to the test squad, with Kane Williamson captaining the side.
